Find Your Way Around Durango With Our
Map of Durango
And Locals Will Think You're a Native
For those who aren't from Durango (yet), we have a map of Durango. You'll soon be getting around like you were born there.
A friend asked me where in Colorado Durango is, so I've also made a simple Colorado state map, showing Durango and a few of the nearby towns that have fun stops to make, too.
And since I know we get quite a few visitors from outside the country, I've also made up a US map, highlighting Colorado (and for those wondering where we live right now, Minnesota).
If I can get a copy, I'll post a La Plata County road map, so you can find those out-of-the-way nooks we like to visit so well. Of course, some of the roads we like best aren't in La Plata County.Rest assured, though, you can get the maps you need once you get to Durango, too. There are lots of shops that specialize in jeep trail maps, national forest maps, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) maps, and everything else you can imagine. They also have things like a Colorado skiing map and Colorado hiking map. The Durango Chamber of Commerce will know which way to point you.
You may download the map of Durango in PDF format to print for use during your visit to Durango (or to show friends, or just for fun!). You will need Adobe Reader (the latest version is recommended) installed on your computer in order to open and use this map. You can get Adobe Reader here (a new window will open so you can download without leaving this page). If you want to open the file in your browser window, you can just click on the link. However, if you want to download the file to view later, then right click on the link and choose "Save Target As" or "Save File As." Then select where you want to save the file on your hard drive. Once you have saved the file, locate where you saved it, and double click to open. In order to print, open the downloaded file, and select the "Print" option from your menu.
