When my folks bought our place in 1971, we had one of the coolest places to stay - housekeeping cabins (with full kitchens where you could cook your own meals if you wanted). Only problem was, I had to help CLEAN them!

'Course, I also had to help feed the trout in the stocked trout pond, and help weigh the ones our guests caught. Boy, did I get spoiled for real fishing. Those trout bit at anything that hit the water!

In our next few trips, we plan to personally check a few of these places out, too. We'll let you know what we find out about the lodging in Durango Colorado.
